Asia
Entertainment, Inc. appeared in the August 2004 Lighting & Sound America
mainstream magazine, in which ‘Asia Video 43’ was featured, alongside mainstream
names such as director Pierre Seguin, who directed the initial farewell tour for
Celine Dion and numerous Cirque du Soleil performances; set designer John
Calkins and light designer Christian Choi, who together have done work for the
annual Super Bowl, the American Radio Grammy Awards, and many Victoria’s Secret
fashion shows. Christian Choi was also the light programer for one of
Michael Jackson’s concert tours.
Most recently,
Asia Entertainment, Inc. has worked alongside Allen Branton, a 30-year veteran
of the entertainment lighting business with hundreds of successful projects to
his credit such as Diana Ross, The Rolling Stones, Whitney Houston, Jennifer
Lopez, and many more. Branton has been nominated by Performance Magazine
readers as "Lighting Designer of the Year" eight times, winning in 1981, 1982,
1987, and 1991. These past affiliations already have ensured our business'
integrity and guaranteed a more sophisticated, discerning clientele for our
services and products.
We have among
one of the best and latest audio and video production values in the
business. We are the first Vietnamese music label to use 5.1-surround
sound, and Vietnamese audiophiles continually praise our recording engineer’s
efforts as the best.
In addition to
producing and distributing many top-selling musical CDs of numerous well-known
Vietnamese singers worldwide, Asia Entertainment, Inc. has also released at
least four live concert performances or MTV-style videos annually. In
2004, Asia Entertainment, Inc. held their second annual ‘Mua He Ruc Ro’
(Glorious Summer Concert) at the internationally renowned ‘Kodak Theatre’ which
featured some of the most beautiful Vietnamese-American pageants in the
world.
In April of
2005, Asia Entertainment, Inc. held an extraordinary and exclusive concert ‘A
Vietnamese Legacy’ commemorating the 30th Anniversary of Vietnamese-Americans
abroad since the fall of Saigon at The National Theatre in Washington D.C.
Then in July of 2005, Asia Entertainment, Inc.’s third annual ‘Glorious Summer
Concert’ was also held, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Southern
California. These live tapings or MTV-style videos were recorded for
worldwide DVD release.
But Asia
Entertainment, Inc. is much more than an entertainment company. Through
our video efforts such as "The Soldier", "War and Peace" and "Love Songs During
Wartime", we remember and pay tribute to the many men in uniform who made the
ultimate sacrifice to secure our freedom. We also regularly organize
events to raise funds for the benefit of our brethren around the world -- such
as ‘Gop Mot Ban Tay’ (Lending a Hand), which brought in a quarter of a million
US dollars from fifteen thousand fans for the construction of a "Vietnamese
Village" for those left behind in the Philippines, or our recent gift of ten
thousand US dollars to help build the Vietnamese/American War Memorial which
proudly stands today in the heart of southern California's Little Saigon
district, as well as thirty-five thousand US dollars we gave to organize the
Vietnamese Veteran's conference of 2003 in Santa Ana.
Asia
Entertainment, Inc., a tradition of personal commitment and community support,
we continue to launch awareness programs at the local, national, and
international levels for prevention of human trafficking, protection of victims
of human trafficking, and fostering multi-sectoral collaboration necessary for
the identification of and prosecution of traffickers.
In summary,
Asia Entertainment, Inc. provides the soundtrack for millions of Vietnamese
lives around the world. With our superior recording quality and unrivalled
content, we are the voice of the Overseas Vietnamese community and the mirror
through which it proudly shows itself to the world. We warmly welcome you
to join us in celebrating the best that the Vietnamese have to
offer!
