FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 21st , 2005 THE FIRST “DANCE-WITH-TRISH” WORKSHOP 2005 TO BE LAUNCHED FOR THE VIETNAMESE YOUTH

Westminster, CA – Ynhi Lehoang, head choreographer of The AnNamX Dance Production is collaborating with Trish Thuy Trang from Triple T Productions to organize a set of dance workshops to adventure out to the kids of the community, offering hands-on dance training and providing an opportunity of a lifetime to perform in a kid’s show with the famous Vietnamese pop idol Trish Thuy Trang.

Each dance workshop will provide a 4-hour program which begins with a session of warm-up exercises followed with an introduction to basic dance movements and dance terminology from choreographer Ynhi Lehoang.

Ynhi Lehoang, who has worked closely with Trish Thuy Trang on many Asia Entertainment videos and live shows, will then start teaching the choreography requested by the kids from one of their favorite Trish’s songs seen on the Asia videos. Artist Trish Thuy Trang will also join the event on this day as she will come in to see the progress of the workshop participants.

Trish will then select certain workshop participants to perform sections of the workshop song with her and her dancers in the little showcase presented at the end of the workshop. A special photo session with Trish will follow as surprise gifts will be given out throughout the workshop while snacks will be provided during break time.

After eight sets of these different workshops, a Trish’s kid show is to be organized at the end of the year. Selected workshop kids will have a chance to be part of this exciting concert in which they will have the opportunity of a lifetime to show what they have learnt from the workshops and perform it proudly with Trish in front of families and friends. This never-done-before project is organized to expose the youth to the healthy activity of dancing and the experience of performance.

It is to reach out to the kids of the community to come together to share the experience and to enjoy a day of dance and entertainment with the artist Trish Thuy Trang and Ynhi Lehoang of The AnNamX Dance Production. It is hoped that this program will promote the healthy activity and art of dancing among the youth, and expose them to the amazing experience of being part of a professional live performance.

This program is to begin with its first workshop on Saturday July16th, 2005 while the second workshop is scheduled two weeks later on Saturday July 30th, 2005. Both of these workshops will be taking place from 1pm-5pm at Nhat Bao Vien Dong’s Community Center located on 14891 Moran Street in Westminster, CA. The dance workshops are opened to anyone from the age group of 6-25 years. The dates and locations of the remaining six workshops will be announced at a later date.
